On the 12th of March, IT-experts, local authorities, Open Data hackers, researchers and private companies will come together in the Aula Magna in Louvain-la-Neuve to openly discuss current and future trends in the field of Open Knowledge and Open Data in Belgium and beyond.

With its 15 tracks and over 300+ attendees, Open Belgium 2018 is the ideal place to get an update on local, national and global Open Initiatives as well as to share skills, expertise and ideas with like-minded data enthusiasts.

What to expect? Various presentations on open data in different sectors, like energy, biotech, public administration, tourism… But also more hands-on talks, on how to handle archiving, linked and interoperable data, infrastructure challenges…
