Eric Ghysels, Distinguished Professor of Economics at Bernstein (University of North Carolina), is about to receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Liège.
In anticipation of the event, Prof. Ghysels will give a lecture on « Artificial Intelligence Alter Egos » on Fri. 22 March 2019 from 17:00 to 18:30 at HEC Liège, 14 rue Louvrex, 4000 Liège.
The topic will be robo-advising, a fast-growing application of FinTech solutions to asset and wealth management.
Prof. Eric Ghysels studies robo-investors, calling them “AI Alter Egos”, and uses machine learning to study their portfolio return behavior vis-a-vis each of the individuals they shadow.
